omar17166 Posted June 18, 2020 Share Posted June 18, 2020 I am not an expert on file types, but something has changed from 10.4 to 10.5. I bounced a new project yesterday, and I usually try the result on different media to check level and mastering. To my surprise when I copied it to my Android phone, the resultant MP3 file was unrecognisable by most music apps (e.g. "Pulsar" music player, "Yamaha Chord tracker", "Star Music" tag editor, "Audio Converter".. probably others). I have other apps that do recognise it ("KF" Key finder, "Timbre" Audio manipulator) .. I went to older projects the bounced MP3 file of which has been recognisable and bounced them again with 10.5 but the same thing happened. They became unrecognisable by the aforementioned apps (not found, as though not music files anymore). Is there a new option I should tick/untick before bouncing now? Has anyone noticed this?
