Antaren
I can hear that it widens the stereo field, and makes the chorus more intense as well as increasing the treble frequencies. Is the correct? I am trying the chorus out on 2 ac guitar tracks that I recorded for a stereo effect.. I have both of the chorus effects stereo as well. Thanks. rAC
What are your ears telling you? Or pipe the output to a spectrum analyser if you want/need visual confirmation of what it’s doing.
Antaren
Thanks rAC. I will trust my ears.
Alan Shields
IIRC I think that the D-Mode was meant to emulate the Roland Dimension D. You could look that up if you wanted some information on the idea behind it. Sorry for the 'google it' response but I think in this case it might be your best bet. Alan. David Nahmani
Thanks rAC. I will trust my ears. Yes definitely that is the way to go. Moreover, the effect may yield different results depending on what signal you apply it to.
Antaren
I decided not to use it for this song, but will learn more about it for future ones. Thanks all.
David Nahmani
Sounds good. The best way to learn more about it is to try to use it, listen to its effect on various material, and determine (as you did) whether or not it's what you want on the current instrument, for the current mix you're working on.
