fangjnr Posted July 1, 2020 Share Posted July 1, 2020 I have seen a few issues with this but no real solutions, My sustain pedal is working fine with Komplete Kontrol stand alone app. It is working fine with Ableton Live It was working with Logic but suddenly stopped. No indication that Logic is seeing a midi input from the sustain pedal in either port I have used midi monitor app and all CC data seems correct Control surface set up and displayed in preferences in Logic Still nothing in Logic. Control surface set up and displayed in preferences in Logic As a troubleshooting test, if you choose Logic Pro X > Control Surfaces > Bypass All Control Surfaces, does the pedal work? You have to open up Komplete Kontrol and rebuild the cc64 setting for whatever jack you have the sus plugged into. It will last for a few days then complete reset itself. The keyboard section of the Komplete Kontrol application has to be reset for the cc64 setting as follows: PEDALS Assign Type: Ctrl Change || MIDI Channel: (n) | Number: 64 | Mode: Gate || Value Off: 0 | On: 127 This same problem exists with all DAWs. lautarotanok Posted 5 hours ago Share Posted 5 hours ago (edited) In my komplete kontrol mk2 the sustain pedal suddenly stopped working and is out of warranty, I do not recommend this brand to anyone, the support is terrible and they soon forget about users who have already purchased their products.
