Syncing issues with pitch correction plugin

I am trying to add some pitch correction to a lead vocal track in one of my projects (using logic's stock pitch corrector). It's a live recording, and there was some bleed from the lead vocals into other mics. When I add the pitch correction plugin to the lead vocal track, the track becomes out of sync with the vocals picked up by the other mics in the room. It sounds a bit like a slap delay. I can't work out why this is happening, since I don't have this problem with any other plugins... any ideas what could be going on?

You could try using "Flex Pitch" instead…but with that mic bleed between tracks I don't see how you can avoid some sort of anomalies.

Thanks for your replies. There is some acoustic guitar bleed on the vocal track, flex pitch seems to make this guitar bleed sound horrendous... the plugin doesn't do this but obviously has the syncing issues I mentioned above. Thinking I might just have to leave the vocals raw

You could have the vocalist re-sing it…just like the top artists do!

Probably would go for that actually if it was a bigger project. It's just for a church service going up in a couple days so I'll probably be the only one that actually notices the vocals are slightly out haha. Just wanting to learn these things for the future mainly.
