How to control a parameter of plugin on one channel strip by plugin on a different channel strip

I know it sounds weird, but please let me explain. When I put a midi instrument on a channel strip and connect that channel strip to a monitor in environment I get fader events coming out .Can I use that midi data to control a plugin on a different channel ? If I simply make a connection in environment it doesn’t work.

I’m trying to find a way to use softube console 1 as a universal controller.

Ps - fader data are generally the automatable parameters, not midi. So if a control in your plugin is automatable, then it can send and receive fader messages in the enviornment which you can transform to anything you want and send to another mixer channel, so I think yes it’s possible if you are using fader automation from one plugin to control a plugin on another channel.
