Truncated Key Commands in Drop-Down Menus

I'm currently in Logic 10.4.8, but this has been an issue for some time now.

This happens when I assign a KC to a Function command. "Edit..." is Open Articulation Editor, which I assigned as Shift F1. Align Objects is assigned to F16. As you can see, drop-down menus truncate the KC assignment (though they still work).

Does this happen on anyone else's display?

Hi Plowman

I can confirm identical behaviour in my LPX 10.4.6.

Defeats the purpose... without menu reference I have to remember all User KC assignments or go back to KC window first to refresh my memory.

So I stopped assigning KCs to some menus' rarely used functions... just much quicker workflow to mouse to the menu. ha ha

Obviously most used KCs in my workflow are ingrained, just like playing music...

Thanks for taking the time to respond. After your confirmation, I sent a bug report to Apple.

Happily most KC's read out completely, even those with a string of modifiers whose sum of characters exceeds a simple "F2." As for the Function key read-outs, oh well... back to the post-it notes.
