When using the sampler, how do I play a sampled sound at different pitches at the same time?

I've been messing around with this in Logic for a while and I can't seem to figure it out. When I'm using a sample I imported in the Quick Sampler( optimized too) I can play the samples at different pitches, but it always slow down or speeds up the sample. How do I get it to play at the tempo I set for my project? Thanks!

Turn on the Flex button and Follow Tempo at the bottom right of the waveform display:
