hectoe
Forgive me if this seems like a dumb question or has been addressed here before but I did not find anything regarding it. Is there any way at all to get toms, hats and cymbals to play together in drummer? For the life of me I can't understand why Logic would prevent that. Any ideas? TIA! hect
Ashermusic
Drummer, unlike Drum Machine Designer, emulates what a real drummer can actually play. Unless your drummer magically grows arms and legs, he/she cannot do what you are describing, so Drummer doesn’t.

Solution Eriksimon Posted September 12, 2020 Solution Share Posted September 12, 2020 But you can achieve it by making a second drummer track (copying by option-dragging the track header is my preferred method), and enabling only the toms (or only the cymbals, depending on what the "main (wo)man" does). And this because two drummers can do it!

Correct. OK, I am going to go into school teacher mode, as I do in my forthcoming book:) One of the great things about Drummer is that if you don't know what a real drummer plays, it teaches you. So you shouldn't do things if you don't understand the implications of it IMHO, unless you are not trying to create a realistic drum track. But for me, that kind of defeats the purpose of Drummer.
