andymunro73
Hi folks, Just bought a new MacBook Pro 2020 which comes with FOUR!? Thunderbolt 3 ports. What's the best way to configure my set up? Do I buy one multi-hub and put everything through that into one of the TB3 ports? Or should I keep the Apollo Twin on one separate TB3 port and use a multihub for everything else like mouse, midi keyboard, external hard drive? Thanks
triplets
4 TB3 ports means 2 dedicated busses. So have one side of the laptop be your interface and the other side the TB3 hub: https://eshop.macsales.com/shop/owc-thunderbolt-3-pro-dock Edited September 16, 2020 by triplets
redgreenblue
And power the unit from the right side, the left side ports are near a temp sensor and can heat up enough to slow the computer when being powered on the left.
