David Nahmani
Is there a way to assign a Midi Knob to the Zoom In/Out functions. Yes. I am using a Behringer X touch mini and I can assign ok using Learn New Assignment but it doesnt work. What happens when you do? Can you share a screenshot of the assignment hex values? David Nahmani
Can you try to remove the 7F value and see if that works?
mrjinxy
It works on the first turn then stops. Also I would like to use the same knob for zoom in and out - so turning clockwise zooms in and anti-clockwise zooms out. But it seems they both have the same value for midi. mrjinxy
Is it a setting that I need to change?
David Nahmani
Sorry I didn't realize you said you intended to assign a rotary knob (and not a simple button) to key commands. Here's someone who managed to do it: viewtopic.php?t=122152
mrjinxy
HI, I found that one yes but for the Behringer X Touch Mini there is no software tto make the 'Control Change' available on Mac. So Im nit sure how to change that value
mrjinxy
So I managed to get one rotary knob to zoom in and another to zoom out. Ideally I would like to have the clockwise and anti-clockwise functions working so one knob did both but I cant get that to work. Seems this will have to be good enough. gacki
It's easily possible when the XTouch mini is in Mackie Control mode, though.
