alexwnbrg
Hey all. I know I've seen a few threads on here regarding how the default logic setting is Snap Regions to Relative Value. I never want that setting, so I always choose absolute. For some reason, midway through a project, Logic will revert back to Relative. Sometimes I'll have to change it 5-6 times throughout working on the same project. Can't see a connection to an action I'm taking it that will make it revert back, but I'm sure there is a good chance I'm missing something. Has anybody else run into this and pinpointed what caused it? Thanks.
David Nahmani
Are you using screensets?
alexwnbrg
I did just start using screensets.
des99
Every time you recall a screenset, you are recalling a window's saved state - so if it was saved with snap set to a particular value, that's what's going to get recalled. Solution David Nahmani Posted October 25, 2020 Solution Share Posted October 25, 2020 I did just start using screensets. Then it's as des99 just said, that's the reason you're getting the behavior you're getting. Are you familiar with how LOCKED screensets work? Perhaps they could help with your workflow. alexwnbrg
Ah, yes, that makes sense. I figured it was something pretty simple that I was overlooking. I am familiar with locked screensets, it's something I just learned about. I'll set up a template with those and keep the snap value to absolute. Thank you!
