bigramp
Hi Is it possible to set the arpeggiator midi plugin rate to a frequency instead of a note based rythm ? Thanks
David Nahmani
No, that's not possible.
bigramp
Thanks. I guess Tim Cook hates free running LFOs. To each his own.

des99
No, he just doesn't think arpeggiator = LFO. Rightly so, imo!
David Nahmani
Good point, there are many unsync'ed LFOs in most Logic synths. Maybe you could use one of those linked to pitch to achieve unsync'ed arpeggios? Depending on what exactly you're trying to do obviously. bigramp
I was using Arturia Pigment and didn't know how to use the arpeggiator. I wanted an easy solution so i went for the midi plugin, but realized Tim wasn't into un-synced arpeggiation. I learned to use Pigment's arpeg though and got where i wanted. Eat that Apple !
