joachim_s
I want to lengthen the end of a vocal part where the singer holds a vibrato until fading out. How do I do that the easiest way without time stretching?
Alan Shields
If you have Melodyne it might be able to do this. Otherwise if you could put the note in question into Sampler you might be able to find a reasonable loop point that would allow you to sustain the note for longer. It would mean triggering the final note via midi and of course YMMV depending on the note in question, how long you want to hold for and what quality level you find acceptable. Could be worth a try though. Alan.

It’s a background vocal so didn’t have to match up the wave exactly since there’s a delay on it too.
Alan Shields
That's a nice way of doing it that fuzzfilth has. I just tried it and it works like a charm. Alan.
