alexwnbrg
Hey all, Whenever I select notes in piano roll and try to apply "16th swing A" quantization, nothing happens. If I select swing B, the midi notes move as expected, if I select swing A again, the syncopated 16th note goes right back to straight 16ths with no swing. Any help? I'm zoomed in as far as I can go and it still looks like it's exactly on the the grid. I seem to remember using this before to get just the amount of swing i was looking for. Solution David Nahmani Posted November 30, 2020 Solution Share Posted November 30, 2020 16A is straight 16. Same thing.
alexwnbrg
Oh! OK, I guess I just figured "Swing A" would be a swung, but slightly less swung option than "Swing B". That clears it up, thanks as always! You're the most helpful person when it comes to Logic. Much appreciated.
DanRad
Wow... All these years I figured it was just too subtle to notice. Seems lame to even have a setting like that.
David Nahmani
Wow... All these years I figured it was just too subtle to notice. Seems lame to even have a setting like that. it allows you to use "Set Quantize Parameter to Next/Previous Value" key commands to go from A (no swing) to F (max swing).
