ampandrew
Hi, I am not new to Logic on a recording platform. However, recently I was asked to edit podcasts containing - m4a video material. I don't have a problem with music editing, but how do I unlock (it shows a locked icon) the video content to run concurrent with the edited audio flow? Thanks in advance, A
David Nahmani
There's no video editing in Logic. All you can do is have a video in the video global track to playback simultaneously with the audio soundtrack you produce in Logic.
robinloops
When importing the video you can choose the option to put the audio on a separate track. If you need to edit the video to fit the audio additions you add/do in in logic, you can use video editing software. Import your audio made in logic and adjust video to fit. ampandrew
Thanks for the replies. I’ve already done a few podcasts by extracting the audio. I was just wondering if there was a a way to edit the video, but obviously there isn’t.
robinloops
Yeah unfortunately no video editing in logic. So you have to use a video editing application for that. Then reimport back to Logic.
DanRad
You can trim the end or beginning of a video with movie export. But that's it.
