SirMalikCobra
Is there any reason why i can't hear this pitch automation?
des99
What do you have MIDI pitchbend routed to modulate in Ultrabeat?
SirMalikCobra
I'm pitch bending hats. Are you saying I can't do it from the piano roll?
SirMalikCobra
Ok I just changed it to another plugin and it works. It's ultrabeat related. Mabey the routing like you mentioned... smh
Solution des99 Posted December 5, 2020 Solution Share Posted December 5, 2020 No, I'm saying Ultrabeat is a drum machine that probably doesn't respond to pitch bend data by default, unlike a synthesizer. You can probably make pitch bend *control* something in UB if you want to do that, but you'll have to set that modulation routing up in Ultrabeat on the voice you want - ie, set Pitch Bend to modulate the overall pitch of that voice, for example. David Nahmani
It's ultrabeat related. More precisely, it's related to how the specific voice in the specific patch you're using is programmed to respond (or, more accurately, programmed NOT to respond) to pitch bend data. See this explanation for how to program an Ultrabeat voice to respond to pitch bend: viewtopic.php?t=70964#p366412
SirMalikCobra
Thanks guys that was it. It has to be directly changed inside of ultrabeat.
des99
Yes, that's what I've been saying.
