bebenavole
Is there a Logic plugin with similar de-noising qualities such as in Isotope RX? My Zoom H4N handheld recorder, turns out has a lot of hiss coming from the preamps. I am curious to know how do you remedy these issues. Thak you Adam
des99
No - use RX, it's the best tool for the job...
robinloops
If the hiss is only apparent during silent spots, a stock logic noise reduction plugin might work.
des99
It's not very good - personally I wouldn't even bother trying. You really want an adaptive noise reduction solution - even the lower end iZotope RX versions offer decent features here.

SirMalikCobra
Use the noise gate next time and set it to only pick the audio above a certain frequency. You will have to adjust the gate to taste a few times to get the settings just right. Afterwards save that setting so you can recall it at a later date.
