JamesK
Is it only necessary to use the create new audio file as a back up when doing destructive audio editing in the lower zone window to a file?
fuzzfilth
I also create a new file if I want to: - flex one note of a two hour performance as the time to wait for 2hrs of material analyzed *greatly* exceeds my attention span - process part of a long file externally in iZotope RX, for the same reason - use Flex Pitch after using Flex Time (poly) as I find Flex poly creates far less artifacts than Flex mono - embed any Flex processing into an audio file to be used elsewhere
