JamesK
Just noticing in 10.4.8 that holding the shift does not result in moving the fader in smaller increments. Can anyone confirm either way?
JamesK
Still can't get this to work. Anyone know if this is broken in LPX10.4.8?
Eriksimon
The smallest increments are .1, (one tenth) and Logic already does this without holding any modifier keys...?
JamesK
Thank you however I'm confused. From the manual: Press and hold Shift while dragging the Volume fader to change the volume level in finer increments.
JamesK
Sorry to bump but is the manual incorrect? I swear it used to work this way.
robinloops
I think it did used to work that way but has changed since. It might have been before they added scaled resolution on the faders. It’s more precise at the top of its range than near the bottom. If you’re in a range that moves by increments of .2, you can use a gain plug-in (or region gain) as a trim function to compensate so the fader is up in the precision range.
