DMD window not opening

Hi, I'm having trouble with the drum machine designer. When I click on its blue button in logic, a window is supposed to show up but every time I press it nothing happens. I've restarted logic plenty of times. What I'm trying to do is open an empty kit and put my own samples in.

Do you have that issue only with DMD? Other plug-ins in Logic open as expected?

 

Also, is this issue isolated within a specific Logic project file or can you reproduce it in a new, empty project where you load DMD onto a software instrument track?

 

If that still fails, then another test I would recommend is to create a new user account on your Mac and try to reproduce the same test there.

Im still having the same trouble, and I've even uninstalled and installed Logic too and its still not working

Do you use Spaces? Do you have multiple displays?

No I don't

Is everything standard on your Mac? Standard Apple mouse, keyboard, no 3rd party utilities etc?

No nothing like that

What happens when you click the insert? Nothing at all?

I am also having this problem but seem to have found a work around. I have two instances of DMD, a logic stock kit and an empty kit that I am using my own custom samples on.

 

When I click the DMD icon in the inspector, the stock TR-606 DMD interfaces pops up no problem.

 

When I click the DMD icon for my custom template, I cannot get the interface to appear.

 

I just duplicated the custom DMD channel strip and moved the MIDI region over to the new channel and then I was able to open up the DMD interface.

 

Seems like this might just be a weird bug. I'm running 10.5.1
