owenjay
Hi, I used to use Logic 7 and now upgraded to X. Logic X is not allowing me to open the files i did on Logic 7. (Both software versions were purchased) . How may i fix this please? Kind regards Owen
des99
Logic Pro X should open LP7 files just fine. When you say "not allowing me to open the files", what exactly is happening?
triplets
Is it Logic 7 or 7.1? If I remember correctly 7 was PPC and 7.1 became intel-ready. Or 7.2 maybe.
des99
7.2.x was the first 64-bit version. I think you're right, 7.1 was the first universal binary version... However, I'm not sure that matters in the project file format, given that LPX (and LP9/8) are stated to officially open projects from LP5 onwards (although we know that's with a practical asterisk), which was most definitely PPC or Intel, depending on the platform - the projects were always cross-platform.
