rafesco
Hi! I want to create some automation data for an insert bypass during the exact section where the Cycle Range is set to. I know you can snap automation to the grid, but this doesn't help me as the cycle range does not follow the grid at all (see screenshot). How can I achieve this? Thanks! facej
Make sure the track and proper automation parameter are selected. Marquee select the cycle area. Click on the selected area to create a region. Issue the "Create 2 Track Automation Points At Region Borders" If you don't like having the extra regions simply select the track and join the regions. The automation stays.
rafesco
Wish the region splitting wasn't necessary, but that does indeed do the trick thanks for the help!
David Nahmani
Wish the region splitting wasn't necessary It is not necessary. Once you have your Marquee selection drag the automation curve up or down.
facej
Thanks! Simply dragging the automation curve is a nifty saving of steps. I tried leaving my tools as Pointer/Marquee, selected the automation I wanted, did the Marquee selection and simply dragged down in the selection using the Pointer tool. Automation points showed up. Super simple. Thanks David!
