philpasse
hi, i'm new to this and have just bought a plugin, but can't access it or see how to get it into logic. can anyone help puh-leeze?
des99
Not a lot of detail there, is there? Maybe start with what plugin you're referring to? Or if you're having installation problems, contact the vendor your bought it from for documentation and/or support. Also - do you know how to use plugins in Logic? fisherking
if it requires ilok, you need to download the ilok license manager from the ilok site, and you can authorize there...

fuzzfilth
The way this forum works is that the answer to a problem helps the one asking and everyone else with the same problem in the future. If you don't tell the solution, that opportunity is lost.
philpasse
s#!+, yeah, as I said, new to this. Well, I successfully activated my plugin on iLok cloud and couldn't see it in the DAW, and no dialog box or prompt came up. It took a simple restart and there it was. Hope this is sufficient:)

Ploki
The "restart" is not related to iLok but to a very old bug in macOS/Logic. basically, to force rescan plugins after installing, open terminal and type "sudo killall -9 AudioComponentRegistrar" That will effectively flush Audio Unit cache and force logic to look for newly installed plugins.
