joachim_s
What's the fastest and cleanest way to export everything on a track, automation, channel strip settings etc. from one project to another? Do I have to make several stages for this or can't I just move it?
triplets
You can't move it. It's also not recommended to have more than one project open simultaneously. You risk unpredictable behavior and potential project corruption. Use the import function thru the All Files browser on the right: https://support.apple.com/guide/logicpro/import-data-and-settings-from-other-projects-lgcpce085447/mac
David Nahmani
+1 to what triplets suggested, use the All Files browser to import the track from the other project.
joachim_s
Ok then! Sorry for the late reply. I thought I was subscribing to my mail but obviously not. However, couldn't this work more intuitively I LPX? I think it's a tedious process.
fuzzfilth
Please do tell what exactly is tedious about this: It literally takes about seven seconds and seven mouse-clicks.

I don't think I understand this function very well. I will try and work on this.
David Nahmani
I don't think I understand this function very well. I will try and work on this. You can start by choosing File > Import > Logic Projects then navigate to a Logic project file and click Import. All the tracks, global tracks, regions (content), cells, plug-ins, sends, i/o settings, automation and notes of the project appear in the All Files Project browser, and you can select which data you want to import into the current project. Sorry for the late reply. I don't get notifications anymore. Don't know why because everything seems to be crossed in the right way here in the forum. David Nahmani
Sorry for the late reply. I don't get notifications anymore. Don't know why because everything seems to be crossed in the right way here in the forum. Notifications are an ongoing issue for me. No matter which service I choose to send notification emails, some seem to always end up being filtered out, assumedly by spam filters somewhere along the route. Sorry for the inconvenience.
