tinelinen
I recently upgraded to 10.6. Since 10.4.8. I have noticed that Solo and Mute were now part of the undo history, which baffles me. When I try to mix or just plain edit tracks, I solo and mute them all the time. However, I'm not interested in those functions when I undo an action. Now, if I want to go back to a previous edit, I have to first undo 10 steps of Solo and Mute. Which means my undo history has to be loaded with so many steps it's frustrating, and I'm scared to press solo and mute one too many times. Anyone know how to get around this? I don't really want to exclude the mixer altogether in the undo history, because it contains a lot of other stuff that I want present, like volume and pan changes. I would appreciate some help here if someone knows how to set the customise the edit function. Thank you!
David Nahmani
I hear you but unfortunately I don't believe that is possible.

JakobP
I'm on 10.5.1 so don't know if the behavior changed since, but unchecking "Include Mixer Undo Steps in Project Undo History" in the mixers local Edit menu fixes it here...
