D1 Key Midi Keyboard and Bypass Control Surfaces

Sun Mar 14, 2021 9:38 am

I have one key D1 that is not playing. When I choose Bypass Controllers they key works.

I have an Native Instruments S61 Keyboard and 10.6.1 Logic Pro X.

It is a sudden thing. I did not see any controls.

How can I reset the Controller settings to make this Note/Key playable?

You've (accidentally) learned the MIDI message for that key to a command.

Use the Controller Assignments window (and/or key commands) to find that assignment and delete it.

Alternative you can trash your control surface preference file to reset your prefs so this assignment will be gone.

This is a very common issue new users can encounter, you'll find many posts about exactly this here....
