Donatas.L Posted March 16, 2021 Share Posted March 16, 2021 Hi, This frustrating issue happened too many times already so I decided to create an account and ask for help. First of all, I really don't understand why you can't automate midi CC via track automation using External Instrument Plugin, you can do it only via region automation. So in order to do track automation on my synths, I have to create a separate External Midi track and do it there. Which is fine, only thing is that if I forget to delete automation first before deleting external midi track where automation was written, it just stays there and logic sends CC messages to my synth even though there is no track or automation written. So in order to use my synths again with no unwanted automation, I have to move everything to a new project. I have attached an example project, you can see that midi CC (102) is being sent out, even though there is no track/region automation! I had this issue in previous version of Logic too.
