Send audio to a bus and back to the track again?

Is it possible to feed audio from multiple tracks into a bus and have that audio sent back to the track with the processed signal for additional processing?

I would like to be able to share the same plugin chain with multiple tracks and then process each track differently.

EDIT: I just realized now while typing this that it's probably not possible, since the processed signal now contains audio from multiple sources. So if this was possible, the audio returned would be a mix of all of the tracks.. :facepalm:

My idea was that I wanted to minimize the number of running instances of a particular plugin and also not having to worry about changing the setting in every instance of the plugin whenever I want to modify something.
