M1 Loading plugins 3rd short delay

I'm using m1 silicon on bigsur 11.2.3 & Logic Pro 10.6.1

when opening logic stock plugins, Open immediately.

 

but

When I open a plugin with silicon support, example (fabfilter 3.1.7 pro q3 silicon support) Before opening, a loading icon comes up and then opens , a loading icon appears then plugin opens

you're sure you're not loading the intel versions thru rosetta2? or perhaps, could be something sorted out later by fabfilter. either way, doesn't seem that intrusive; what's the concern?

I think plugins all load in a separate process now, for security and architecture reasons (eg to enable a native app to load non-native plugins).

yeah.

If you run a native version of logic, plugins don't crash logic anymore - instead a popup appears tells you to "save and close"

Rosetta2 version can still crash.

(although it also loads separate process for plugins. AuHostingService for ARM plugs, AUCompatibilityHostingService for rosetta2)
