Organ rotation control via mod wheel help

Can anyone tell me why Logic's Vintage Organ Leslie rotation speed isn't responding to the mod wheel cc data? At the playhead the mod is at 127, so the speed should be at either Slow or Fast, right? But no matter whether the data is at 1 or 127, the speed doesn't change. Gotta be pilot error.
