Hello Guys,

Ok For the Velocity I use the Midi Modifier and assign the Velocity to the ModWheel

Main goal is to do live midi recording

So for best way to see how and what I record

What is the best visual way to monitor

In record in track view or region view ?

Just did a review in topic automations their is a lot to learn

My personal technique for midi automation is to capture the recording after the fact, so you press play, move the mod wheel to create the automation and then when you have a performance you like, press shift R to capture recording, and then open the piano roll, press A to view automation and command Y to cycle through any parameters that are recorded.

Hi David ,

Yes Sir I am looking to get this end result I hope this all make sense? if not please ask questions

I am looking to learn how to add and sculpt Logic instruments,”My Recording Sounds”around my house to “Create Sample Instruments”

But I am trying to learn the steps and best approaches to get their since I am on tight budget to do the flowing

Again here is what I am aiming for

To map volume along with velocity to any software instruments ,in Logic or learn how to create the desire velocities articulation that are needed for the given instruments if all possible

So I can add dynamics-soft ,quite ,dull sounding to hard ,loud, bright sounding

By learning how to adding different layering dimensions to one mod wheel gradually overtime and eventually other midi controls on my midi keyboard as continue to learn

Equipment I have is

Daw - Logic Pro X

Mic - usb mic for old iPhone Shure MV88

Isotope - RX Elements for Noise Reduction to clean up the noise floor

Thank You in advance
