Need help with Logic Themes

Wed Apr 07, 2021 4:00 am

I recently installed an app called LPXColorizer which is supposed to change the color of Logic's interface.
I loaded a theme from the app but when I wanted to revert it to the default look, it wouldn't let me.
I have tried deleting LPXColorizer from my mac, but it's still stuck on the preloaded theme.

If anyone has any experience with this, please help! thanks

I'm using a 2016 Macbook Pro. 13inch 8gb. Touchbar.
Logic 10.4.1

Hi Deximus,

Sorry for this issue.
I have no idea why applying the default theme fails.
It can't be permission issues, else you would not have been able to apply another theme in the first place.

But reverting to the default theme can also be done manually:
You will need to copy the content of these two folders (there might be just one depending on your Logic version) "Resources" & "MAGUIResources"
located here:
~/Library/Application Support/LPXColorizer/LPX/LogicVersion

Copy the content of the "Resources" folder and replace the content of:
Applications/Logic Pro X.app/Contents/Frameworks/MAResources.framework/Versions/A/Resources
&
Copy the content of the "MAGUIResources" folder and replace the content of:
Applications/Logic Pro X.app/Contents/Frameworks/MAGUI.framework/Versions/A/Resources

Then restart Logic and the original Logic UI should be back
