Reverb/delay tail when hitting STOP

Mon Apr 12, 2021 2:57 am

Is there an option that we can check/uncheck in order to make both the reverb tail or delay feedback keep playing when we hit the STOP button?
Right now when I have an audio region and there's a long delay, if I just let it play, the delay keeps playing after the audio is gone, but if I stop Logic right where the region is gone, the delay plays for a little bit and then fades out. The same for reverbs.
If I want to test what a reverb or delay is doing to the sound, I would like to stop Logic and hear the tail.
I have Valhalla Supermassive and it doesn't stop the tail. It actually has a Reset button to stop it, in case we want to.

Someone mentioned in this forum that this only happens when the effect is an Insert, but not on an Aux. So I was wondering is there is an option for when it's an Insert?
