Say I have a song that needs a vocal... and it is to high for me to sing normally....IS there a way to slow the song down a bit so I could sing and record it in another lower range and then speed it up the the original instrument speed? Use to be able to do something like this with my old Tascam. If so, I usually record my vocals "after" I have all my drums and instruments recorded... then I record my vocals. I would assume that all instruments at this point would have to be recorded with a "software instrument" before slowing it down to a lower pitch. No Audio files/Real Bass or guitars yet.... correct?
