shaneleadbeater Posted April 18, 2021 Share Posted April 18, 2021 Hey guys, I had a look for the solution both here and on google but I wasn't really getting an answer. I've just noticed Logic turning down the faders on every channel when I turn on input monitoring. There's no automation on the channels, my midi controller isn't plugged in at all, and it happens no matter what session I open. It's only just started doing this, I haven't seen it do this before. Solution stratquebec Posted April 18, 2021 Solution Share Posted April 18, 2021 I think It's the built-in Logic Pro automatic feedback protection which makes the level go down to -24dB when using the built-in mac mic and built-in output. I don't think there's a way to turn it off. It was possible to toggle it on/off in older Garageband version but no more possible in GB too.
