Gianni_Gon
Hi there, I have been wondering about this one for a while. I imported an audio file from my usb stick to Logic. I dont wanna have trouble with logic as soon as I unplug the usb stick, so I wanna move the file to a logic folder where logic can find it as soon as I open the program. How do I do that correctly without messing up?
Solution David Nahmani Posted April 18, 2021 Solution Share Posted April 18, 2021 You shouldn't do anything in the Finder. Make sure your project is saved organized as a folder, copying audio files into the project folder. Then whatever audio file you import will automatically be placed in the Audio Files folder inside the project folder.
Gianni_Gon
Oh, nice. I will do that. Saving as project folder should become more of an habit.
David Nahmani
Definitely, yes. Also always open a Project Audio Browser to double-check the location of all the audio files listed there, make sure it's inside the Audio Files folder inside the project folder (it's a good idea to open an independent Project Audio Browser window, and make it wide enough to read the entire filepath).
