ENVIRONMENT: Meta 47 bug

Group,

I found a bug I am looking to confirm in the Logic environment. META 47 (send byte) values are supposed to go up to 255 - but now are only reaching 127. This used to work correctly and am not sure where it went sideways. I am using Logic 10.4.8 due to High Sierra OS limitation on my old Mac Mini.

Can someone check and see if this is the case also in Logic 10.6 or confirm the same?

Here is the relevant outtake from the LOGIC USERS guide:

Num = 47 (Send Byte to MIDI): This sends the track instrument any byte value (Val) between 0 and 255 ($00-$FF). For example, if you send 246 as the byte, this is equivalent to a MIDI tuning request message. The display shows Send Byte $F6. Use this meta event only if you know what you’re doing—if you don’t, your sound modules and synths may start to behave very oddly.

Thanks. - jr
