Gianni_Gon
Hi there, this is a golden question to me because I frequently move selected midi notes from one track to another, and I was wondering if there is a way to displace them without having to cut up the region. Since a couple of notes overlap with the chords, it can get difficult when trying to move an overlaping chord section. There most be some more elegant way to solve this problem without tearing apart that region every time to fish out the notes. Right?
blinkofani
If a MIDI region already exists on the track where you want them, you can CMD+C in the piano roll the notes you want to copy and then click the destination region in the Tracks area, it will then show that region in the piano roll and do a Paste at Original Position in the local EDIT menu.
Gianni_Gon
...and Paste at Original Position in the local EDIT menu. Voila! That's the one I was looking for. Thanks! (:
