ionshunt Posted April 28, 2021 Share Posted April 28, 2021 Hello, I have Logic Studio 9, version ( 9.000 ) . For more than 10 years, everything worked fine for the little music I was doing. Then, yesterday, after leaving Logic on for hours without playing, I decided to record the rest of a track. Here is what happened : I can record MIDI before the location, no matter what the preroll is. I explain : Say I set the transport at measure 8, with a record preroll of 2 measures. If I hit a note on the keyboard during preroll, it will start recording, even at measure 7. This did not happen before... So now, I have to add a track to record and do some editing, and place the recording on the right track back. Has anyone an idea where the preroll went wrong ?
