basswalrus
Hi All, I have 35 audio tracks. I keep getting a system overload message. I froze all the drums and instrument tracks, same message. Not one plug in. I attached a picture. Any ideas? Thanks!
triplets
Double click the CPU meter in the display. Which meter is peaking on it, CPU or I/O?

triplets
Have you tried a restart of the computer?
fisherking
reboot. make sure no apps are set to launch on a restart/power up. then open that project, see how things go. this worked for me regularly on my previous setup; worth a try. you're flushing the ram (by rebooting), and, by opening only logic, not sharing that memory with any other apps. check activity manager too, see what might be eating cpu or memory...
