jeroenmoolhuijsen
Hi, In my Key Commands / Assignments column all my assignments are send through MIDI channel 1. I'd like them to be sent through MIDI channel 10. How d I do this? Greeting, Jeroen
David Nahmani
In my Key Commands / Assignments column all my assignments are send through MIDI channel 1. I'd like them to be sent through MIDI channel 10. When you click Learn New Assignment in the Key Commands window, whatever MIDI event sent from your keyboard to Logic is assigned to the selected key command. If that event is on Channel 10 then that Channel 10 event is assigned. So if you want to use Channel 10 for your assignments, make sure your control surface/keyboard transmits on Channel 10. David Nahmani
Thnx!! I’ll look into my Maschine mk3 documentation. Gr, Jeroen You may have to install controller software for your device. Why do you want the key command assignments on MIDI Channel 10 if your keyboard sends on Channel 1?
jeroenmoolhuijsen
Your tip worked, thnx!! Why I need this is to use a MIDI channel that isn’t used, so that ‘no wires will get crossed’. The bigger picture here is to simulate the Zen audio alk2 functionality in Logic
