Bar Offset

Is it possible to use The synchronisation settings to offset the bar position so that 00 00 is Bar 6 ( not Bar 1) ?

That the bar display on the arrange page and the bar numbers in the score editor both start at Bar 6?

Yes but I don't recommend it. Logic is infamously buggy when you move the project start marker around. I recommend you always keep it at its default 1 1 1 position. What is the goal? Maybe there's another way?

Thanks for the tip, I think I will keep to your default suggestions ( The goal was so that the chart I have been sent to track begins at bar 6 and just thought it would be handy to have the bars conform to the chart).

 

But perhaps another way round is to offset the bars in the Score Editor and not look at the usual bar number grid at the top of the Arrange Page.

Yes, that is the method I would recommend. Or start the song at bar 6 and keep the 6 empty measures at the beginning.
