avit106
My MACKIE/ONYX FIREWIRE has stopped working in logic due to an OS update. (catalina ) I am trying to workaround this problem with a ROLAND DJ 808, it shows up as a input/output device in preferences>audio , it plays out of the MACKIE desk, but no signal in logic. David Nahmani
Yes, it should work as an audio interface. Can you play something in Logic and have it come out of the DJ 808? You may need to make sure the audio routing inside the 808 is correctly set up so that if you connect a microphone for example, the digital audio is sent to the host (DAW) / computer. David Nahmani
You don't see it as a choice in the input or output device pop-up in Logic's audio preferences? Normally, whatever appears in your system audio preferences should also appear in Logic's audio preferences.
