Compressor61
Hello all. I'm using LPX 10.6.2 on an M1 Mac Mini/16gb Ram (which is awesome btw) Is there a way to assign multiple kit pieces or samples to a single DMD pad? Like two kicks to a single midi note/pad. The only way I can seem to do this is to assign different kit pieces to two different notes and then double the midi part on another note in Piano Roll. I love the DMD interface and parameter tweaks, etc. and would prefer to stay in that mode when creating kits. Thanks! Don
Solution David Nahmani Posted May 19, 2021 Solution Share Posted May 19, 2021 Each pad in DMD triggers a software instrument channel strip. On that channel strip, you can insert a sampler such as Logic's Sampler which lets you layer multiple samples triggered by a single note. Compressor61
So simple and yet I didn't think of it. Thanks again, David!
