dmitch57 Posted May 25, 2021 Share Posted May 25, 2021 As far as I can tell, applying a groove template to a MIDI region only works in Classic Quantize mode, not in Smart Quantize. No matter what I try or tweak, applying a groove template in Smart Quantize mode has no effect. This is unfortunate...Smart Quantize has some effects that would be useful when applying a groove template (e.g. adjusting the lengths of all notes). It's odd, though, because nothing in the UI precludes specifying a groove template in Smart Quantize mode, and I can't see any reference to this restriction in the docs.
