Bfd3 has no kits, only in logic (mac m1)

I’m currently testing logic pro and it has a bunch of very annoying bugs. One of them is that bfd3 is empty ! (see image below, logic pro left, standalone right)

It works perfectly everywhere else (Live, Renoise, standalone). When I go in the plugin to rescan locations it freezes

Has it happened to someone else ? Is there a workaround ?

I can’t get BFD to even install on my née M1 machine and little to no help from their support

Did you see this?:

I have and I've attempted that. I get the following error when I try to install, which is crazy because I don't even have ProTools installed, never have on this machine, and don't even have the referenced folder. I've even tried creating it with a blank file, and still get same:

Error deleting BFD3.aaxplugin. Please ensure Protools isn't running, or delete /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/BFD3.aaxplugin manually, and try again. This installation will now abort

I'm having the same issue and like you have never had protools installed. I'm on an imac running Mojave. Any luck finding a work around?
