Tumulte
I’m currently testing logic pro and it has a bunch of very annoying bugs. One of them is that bfd3 is empty ! (see image below, logic pro left, standalone right) It works perfectly everywhere else (Live, Renoise, standalone). When I go in the plugin to rescan locations it freezes Has it happened to someone else ? Is there a workaround ?
triplets
Apparently Bfd3 is not compatible with Big Sur yet. Check their website, there's no mention of Big Sur anywhere and Sweetwater compatibility list says "wait to upgrade to Big Sur".
Tumulte
It’s compatible everywhere but in logic (as you can see in the screenshot, the standalone version is fine).
gacki
My guess is that those other programs run under Rosetta and Logic runs native under Apple Silicon.
Tumulte
THAT’S IT ! I was certain Live was already fully M1 compatible but no. If I run Logic in rosetta mode, all my problems are gone. I’m amazed by the reactivity of this forum and thanks a lot for your help

I get the following error when I try to install, which is crazy because I don't even have ProTools installed, never have on this machine, and don't even have the referenced folder. I've even tried creating it with a blank file, and still get same: Error deleting BFD3.aaxplugin. Please ensure Protools isn't running, or delete /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/BFD3.aaxplugin manually, and try again. This installation will now abort
triplets
Looks like BFD3 is not ready for M1 yet.
