Craig6973 Posted June 1, 2021 Share Posted June 1, 2021 Hi Everyone hope and pray all good I am new at recording sounds I am use a usb condenser mic Goal in sight is to use different sounds I recorded to tune them to a musically pitch to make useable very basic sample instrument for starters What I did I record me hitting glass jar with my finger nail to make a ringing sounds So I bring into my daw Logic I did use the built in tuner in my daw this works but not always Accurate Looking for others experience ways of to tune almost any sound ,tone or harmonic Frequencies ,inharmonic Frequencies Eccept. And some enharmonic sounds (bells) have multiple pitches which can make them hard to use as a pitched material in music.
