kuharido
Hello! The piano Roll has a step input feature whereas I can’t find anything like that on the new sequencer. Do you really have to click notes in as the only method of input? Please say it ain’t so! Also I’m wondering if there is a way to program sequences like A, B, C ...etc and switch them like a live performance, but specifically for on the fly recording not pre made loops I couldn’t find anything online it seems most instructions are around the feature itself being new
David Nahmani
You can use arrows to select a step on the grid, then press ' (apostrophe) to toggle the step on or off. To switch them like a live performance... use live loops. You can record a live loop performance in the Tracks area... is that what you mean? kuharido
Thanks David! I was hoping t here is a way to fill in the sequencer notes by actually playing the note on a midi controller instead of the computer keyboard just like the step input function on the piano roll and for live performance i was thinking other than loops, how can i do what even a basic sequencer does in terms of once you play a sequence, pressing a new note while playing can pitch or change the sequence
David Nahmani
As far as I know you cannot do either of those things.

David Nahmani
thanks for the confirmation! Actually come to think of it there's a way you may be interested in exploring, it's Touch Tracks: https://support.apple.com/en-mo/guide/logicpro/lgcp0eac5752/mac They do let you trigger a sequence, transposing it according to the pitch of the note you're using to trigger the sequence.
