Setting up group bus select buttons on a midi controller for quick mixer navigation (Drums, bass, keys, etc)

Tue Jun 08, 2021 12:37 pm

I have a Platform M+ DAW Controller. When I select a channel in the Logic mixer I would have expected the channel to map to the first fader on the Platform M, but it doesnt always do that. Would there be a way to setup buttons on the Platform M (or on my other generic midi controller) to bank between my group buses so I can hit the "Drums" button and Logic will map the Drums group fader to the first fader on the Platform M. This would make navigating the mixer really easy.

Does anyone have any idea about how I might be able to achieve this?

I don't believe there's a way to achieve this... but it's worth asking the Icon people. If you find out, do let us know!
